My name is Silvia Oton Gonzalez. Exactly. Silvia OG. Imagine the pressure of carrying that name for someone who can’t seem to get rid of the impostor’s syndrome.
I love carrying books around that I never have time to read, intended puns, and craft beer. I hate Whatsapp voice notes, devil advocates, and having a celebrity’s name at the tip of my tongue for too long.
When I was a teenager, my father used to say I’d make a good lawyer because I had “objections” to everything. I finally chose advertising just to contradict him once more.
I started my career at Dentsu Spain, working mainly for the telecom Orange. Then, I joined VML Madrid, where I worked for PepsiCo and Danone. I transferred to VML Milan, and after one year, I got the opportunity to join LePub, where I’m currently working for brands like Netflix, Tinder and Heineken.
