Frietje! Patatje!

The Netherlands is split. Not over politics, or taxes, or climate change. Over... chips.

To refer to chips, people say either frietje or patatje, and the Dutch can get very intense about which term is correct.

Lay’s is all about bringing people together, so naturally, we did the only reasonable thing: launched a national quest to unite everyone under one chip name and change all of our packaging.
